Well, since you asked...

Now, before we kick-off, I want to publicly nail my flag to the mast of the good ship nonpartisanship and state that this is not about Labor bashing, for as history will attest, the crown of stupidity rests comfortably on the head of both sides of parliament.

No... this particular initiative is merely just another example, albeit it one of the more ludicrous, of the chronic detachment from reality displayed by politicians across our political landscape and just the latest reminder of how alarmed for the future we should all be.

Just when you thought things couldn't get more ridiculous, in one of the more blatant vote grabbing attempts to distract from the astounding incompetence of a Government that continues to afflict the once great state of Victoria, the Premier would have us believe that a boost to productivity and the economy are some of the benefits we can look forward to by making the right to work from home law.

I imagine the big end of corporate Melbourne town are all busy calculating the profit upgrades they'll soon have to announce.

So whilst approximately half of Victorian workers stand to be impacted including those bastions of value and productivity like bankers, insurance brokers, and of course the bureaucracy, alas there is no extra family and friends time for nurses, teachers and the guy that makes my morning coffee, all of whom must find the discussion wholly bemusing.

Sorry JA, but this is clearly a case of "stupid is as stupid does"... well, you did ask.
